Sept. 17, 2008 KTM passed our 3rd party quality audit meeting the standards of ISO 9001: 2000 and AS9100.
May 1 ,2008 KTM is officially pursuing AS9100 quality certification with a planned certification date in the Fall of 2008 Dec 20, 2007 To increase CNC machining capacity, we are adding 2 more horizontal machining centers plus a 2nd CMM February, 1 2006 KTM has just finished building a 6000 square foot addition. The additional space will be used for additional CNC machining capacities.
January 1, 2005 As a result of last year's success, KTM is currently looking to fill additional positions in CNC milling, CNC turning, and some manual machining. December 31, 2004 The economy in 2004 for KTM proved to be a strong. Customer orders levels where higher than the previous years have been. This allow us to maintain a strong backlog of orders all year. As a result, many of our employees achieved record levels of overtime in an effort to satisfy our customer delivery schedules. Congratulation to all of KTM's employees for their efforts. Our customer's demands for higher volumes and increase level of on-time deliveries, created a need for us to add 5 additional OKK CNC mills during the year. January 1, 2003 As the economy for manufacturing has reduced in the last few years, this business situation has forced KTM to stream line our manufacturing processes and our work force. For the year 2003 we plan to continue increasing our productively and provide a higher quality produces to our customers at a lower cost. Happy new year and have a great year. April 15, 2001 We purchased a 36 X 55 CMM and are in the process of installing and expect to be in operation in May 2001. January 31, 2001 The 54100 Blanchard grinder and Mattison Surface grinder are now ready for production grinding. Both grinding departments are able to operate 6 days a week up to 2 shifts to enable us to maintain lead times at an acceptable level. October 15, 2000 As many people may have heard Matco Machine in St. Louis, MO ceased operation in June 2000. Afterwards, we made arrangements to purchase their largest Blanchard Grinder. The auction was in Oct 2000 during which we also purchased a 42" X 144" Mattison Surface Grinder. We are expecting to have both machines set up and running by the end of the year.
